Android 5.1 OTA update is available for Infinix X551 Hot Note users who have already updated their devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop. This
update fixes the issues below .

This update may cause crash in rooted devices.
Version update

==>Added new camera modes – multiple perspective mode,
moving trajectory mode , scenic phonto mode

==>Added – new camera settings – sound recording,
recording mode, ISO sensitivity, image properties, white balance, framing mode,
color effects, exposure value

==>Added function as to set Sim1 and Sim2 ringtones  separately

==>Added apps alphabetical sorting widget

==>added inute reminder sound effect in call

==>Optimized camera effect and enhanced front camera
resolution

==>Optimized system power management for long usage time

==>added function to move third party apps to SD card

==>added vibration during power on and shutdown

==>Optimized Ram management

==>fixed issue from Xclub fans,

==>Improved system performance and other issues fixed.
Before you update 
Please unroot your device because it might
brick your device.

  2. Prof pls help me… Am using a infinix hot note pro and have not gotten any ota update… And am using a 4.4 uptil now… Anytym i go to the system update and check for update it kips tellin me "is the latest version" pls wat can i du?

  3. My am using z30 version 10.3.0.675….sme of my app is not wking….it will say no data connection or no network….eg badoo,,1mobile…can't update my apps from it……ve put it on flight mode nd back still not working

    • Check if upgrade is available for your device by going to Settings, about and software update. Make sure that you have an active internet connection. If update is available for your device, it will show you.

  13. I have an issue oooh prof. I tried updating last Thursday and it bricked my phone properly. That's even after I removed the root privilege. I just thank God I had the first upgrade I downloaded from here.

    Now I'm even scared of anything called system upgrade. But what else do you think I should do for this update to work?
    I'm using hot note pro.

  15. Why not flash the 0925 rom directly?? Instead of flashing 0730 it save u time and d data download d right rom hia

    Also mr yomi abt d link u gave above for infinix Hot Note Pro kitkat stock rom, i doubt if it works, I downloaded dat exact rom, flashed it on my Hot note pro, only for my phone to refuse powering on, Thank God i ws having 0730 rom which i had to flash back b4 i cud get my phone back to life..

    Well i don't knw of any note pro users that actually flashed dat and worked oo..

    Also d 0925 dosnt run my Fifa 16 and oda HD games dat was y u wanted to port back to kitkat buh no luck thus far.

    Well av given up on porting back, will wait till fifa or INFINIX release a fix

    Really this confuse most of us regarding upgrading to lollipop manually!!
    Is there anyway to upgrade OTA?

    I bought my Hot Note Pro 16+2 from Souq.com (Saudia Arabia) & now it's pricked after 1 week after trying to upgrade manually, no power no charge, Don't know what to do!.

    Is there any support team or agent here in Jordan?

      Please my infinix Hotnote is not picking signal and I have tried the 2 sim cards in other phones they are working perfectly… Please could it be as a result of not updating the soft ware

  22. prof. please I pressed the update button on my infinix hot note and after showing an error message, my phone will not switch on. it stops at the infinix logo. please help. I have never done anything on my phone…never rooted, never tried lollipop…nothing.
    my only mistake was pressing the update button. help me please
