Must Read: Memo to All Blackberry Users

This is a MEMO to all Blackberry users. You are probably reading this because you are in possession of a blackberry device or you are related to someone who is possession of a blackberry device.

Blackberry has officially announced that they may no longer produce blackberry device that will run on Blackberry OS anymore… instead, it will run on Android operating system just like the Blackberry Priv. Hence, if you are still using Blackberry OS7 you are completely one leg in and one leg out.

to be Candid with you users of Blackberry OS7, the way Nokia 3310 fade away, in a twinkling of an eye, your smartphone will fade away before the year run out; because Blackberry is no longer updating this particular set of Blackberry and have stopped pushing it into the market.

It’s advisable you switch to a better smartphone with better data plan before your device will be regarded as scraps.

And to all Blackberry 10 Users, its high time you upgrade or add another smart brother to your device.

This is just my 2 cent advice. Take it or leave it, Blackberry OS7 is not suppose to enter the year 2016!

Spread the love

  1. Haba Mr Prof i disagree with you on this, if blackberry is not going to produce or push update for some device, doesn't mean those devices will fade out in a blink of an eyes.
The so called 3310 you mention, do you know how many yrs it lasted in the market, even though nokia stopped the production long time ago, and its lasted than some phones in the market.
Some people still prefer to buy BB ebcause of the 1k naira monthly subscrition because the second smartphone they has they cant change the IMEI.

  2. Oga prof. Gearbest eventually shipped my 2nd phone. But they didn't use PostNL this time, they used SingPost registered. I am finding it difficult to track the phone on this SingPost unlike PostNL (which I even knew the day it got to nigeria). I can't evenn see the country of Destination on SingPost. Please help me out here. The phone was shipped out from gearbest on 7 January.

  3. Different strokes for different folks. RIM stopping production doesn't mean my Bold 5 will disappear from my hand.

support?my downloaded OSs, apps, pc tools, spare parts and knowledge are still good to go till I say so. I'm my own support.

If my phone does what I want, when I want it and at the price I can afford…..blaze on
