Everything You Need to Know About Airtel Unlimited Plans

You’ll recall that Airtel scrapped their unlimited hourly plan last sometimes last year and now again; they’ve introduced unlimited data
plans. Note that this plan is not for everybody; but for heavy users,
downloaders or for those who operate business centers.

It will interest you to know that each of this unlimited plans doesn’t zap like the usual normal plan (So I was told) meaning no matter
how you download, you shouldn’t be able to finish N10,000 unlimited plan before
it begins to throttle.

I subscribed to Airtel Unlimited Plan of N10,000 over a week
ago and the speed has been awesome even though we are patiently waiting for
them to launch their 4G LTE. I’m still waiting to see when it will begin to
throttle.
Like I said, this plan is not for lite users, but for heavy
internet users… if you are a lite user, just scroll pass to another plan.
Have you tried this plan before? Let’s know your experience
so far.

I am a damn heavy interbet user.
Why i might not got for airtel cause they do not do free night browsing like spectranet.
    They shud af introduced it.
    1k equals 4gig.
    10k..40gig. Airtel.

    Spectranet.10k…25gig
12500..40 gig plus free night browwing 1am to 7am.
    It does not zap
    I rather stick to soectranet

    • I don't think Airtel unlimited and spectranet are same. Spectranet 1GB and Airtel 1GB are not thesame, Sepctranet zap while Airtel doesn't. What is the essense of free night plan when you have unlimited data to last you for 30days? I'm just thinking loud sha

    • Dude Spectranet is better, with 10k you are able to download as much as you want from 1am to 7am everyday without any serious throttling (consistent 1.5mb/s). You also still have 25gb for your casual daily browsing Where as airtel throttles your speed extremely once you go past 40gb. In essence after 40gb,you're left with a snail for Internet connection
