Qualcomm recently, at the 2017 Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit,
announced that they successfully demonstrated 5G data connection on a
single-chip 5G modem—the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem. The company was able to achieve a download
speed of more than 1 gigabit per second.

Nigeria and most 3rd world countries are not ready for 5G. The 3G and 4G strength is still not up to standard.
This is great, hope to see our Network providers extend 4G first to nooks and crannies of Nigeria before talking about 4G. Airtel does not even have 4G in Nigeria
