Zoto Shut Down Operation in Nigeria – Count Your Loses and Move on

You’ll recall that sometimes in July we hinted about the silence of Zoto to users complain and how they’ve stopped responding to issues. The last social media update was in June and subscribers are currently counting their losses.

We learnt that Zoto has officially packed up operations in Nigeria, they’ve shut down… I’m guessing the economy was harsh, village people were on their neck and they gave up the ghost.

All staff have been let go and co-founder Oshone Emmanuel Ikazoboh has moved on to other things.

According to what TechPoint reported, the plan is to restructure the company, perhaps towards a possible comeback in the future.

A lot of us rock the app in 2016 with the freebies attached and now it’s a sad story… some of us still have our funds trapped in the app but at this point, you just have to count your loses and move on. Zoto is gone and it will only take a miracle for its to comeback.

  2. “not all startups survive unfortunately”…. that comment struck me deeply. it’s sad, but hopefully they get successful with the restructuring and make a strong comeback in the future
